Bwindi Impenetrable Forest listed as Number 1 on CNN's '25 of the most beautiful places around the world'

In a CNNarticle by John Minihane dated 24th April 2019 in celebration of Earth Day, Bwindi ImpenetrableForest in Uganda was listed first in a list of '25 of the most beautiful placesaround the world.'

 

It wasdescribed as 'dense, lush and otherworldly, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is oneof the last redoubts of the mountain gorilla. Over 400 call thisUNESCO-protected national park home, with the chance for visitors to trek toand meet habituated groups. Its biodiversity extends far beyond its most famousinhabitants, however; 348 bird species and 220 butterfly species can be foundwithin its 331-square-kilometer expanse.'
