Information for Uganda
The Ministry of Health in Uganda have confirmed that there are confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Uganda.

  1. All passenger planes coming from outside of Uganda are prohibited from landing at any of the airports in Uganda (except cargo flights), with effect from midnight 22nd March 2020.

  2. Humans crossing into Uganda from the different border points are prohibited until further notice.

Information for Ugandans in the UK
On Sunday 10th May, the UK Government announced an update to emergency Coronavirus (COVID-19) measures affecting everyone in the UK, which Ugandans living in the UK are strongly advised to adhere to:
  • Stay at home as much as possible
  • Work from home if you can
  • Limit contact with other people
  • Keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
  • Wash your hands regularly
