CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): TRAVEL ADVICE

Information for Uganda
The Ministry of Health in Uganda have confirmed that there are confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Uganda.

Currently:

  1. All passenger planes coming from outside of Uganda are prohibited from landing at any of the airports in Uganda (except cargo flights), with effect from midnight 22nd March 2020.

  2. Humans crossing into Uganda from the different border points are prohibited until further notice.

Information for Ugandans in the UK
On Monday 23rd March, the UK Government announced new emergency Coronavirus (COVID-19) measures affecting everyone in the UK, which Ugandans living in the UK are strongly advised to adhere to:
  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • Do not go out to meet others - even friends and family
