OUTREACH SERVICES TO THE UGANDAN COMMUNITY IN IRELAND

Receiving passport applications:
Please ensure you follow instructions of what to bring on the day, here:
Collection of passports:
If you have received prior communication that your passport is ready for collection, please contact us and we will endeavor to have your passport ready for collection from Ireland.
Registration for National ID's (18+ only):
If you wish to register for a Uganda National ID it is mandatory for you to provide a Uganda Passport or Birth Certificate. You are required to appear in person where you will receive a form for completion, but are required to have the following information to hand:
- Your place of residence in Uganda (you need to know your District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your place of birth in Uganda (you need to know your District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your place of origin in Uganda (you need to know your District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- If you have a spouse, you need to provide their names, National ID number if they have one, place of marriage, date of marriage and type of marriage.
- Your Father's names
- Your Father's place of residence (you need to know District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your Father's place of origin (you need to know District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your Mother's names
- Your Mather's place of residence (you need to know District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your Mother's place of origin (you need to know District, County, Sub-Country, Parish/Ward and Village)
- Your Father's tribe and clan
- Your Mother's tribe and clan
You must ensure you know all of the above for purposes of registration.
Collection of National ID's:
Any ID listed (https://london.mofa.go.ug/data/smenu/35/NATIONAL-ID-CARDS.html) is ready for collection. Please inform us in advance that you would like to collect your National ID from Ireland.
Dual Citizenship:
Applications for Dual Citizenship are made online (https://london.mofa.go.ug/data/smenu/15/Dual-Citizenship.html) but we can provide advice.
