About the High Commission
The Uganda High Commission, London
The Uganda High Commission is located in Central London at Uganda House, 58-59 Trafalgar Square, WC2N 5DX.
The role of the Uganda High Commission is to protect the interests of Uganda and Ugandan nationals, within the limits permitted by international law; negotiating with the UK and Irish Governments as directed by the Government of Uganda; ascertaining by lawful means conditions and developments in the UK and Ireland, and reporting thereon to the Government of Uganda; promoting friendly relations between Uganda and the UK and Ireland, and developing economic, cultural and scientific relations between Uganda, on one hand, and UK and Ireland, on the other.
One of the core responsibilities of the Uganda High Commission is to deliver the best possible counsel to Ugandan citizens, who find themselves in an emergency situation in UK or Ireland or are in need of the High Commission's assistance for other reasons. Ugandan citizens in distress are always welcome to contact the Uganda High Commission.
