This week the Mission participated in the Birmingham - Uganda Investment Convention at the Burlington MacDonald Hotel.
Amb. John L Mugerwa gave the opening remarks on behalf of Uganda High Commission, highlighting the available Investment opportunities in Uganda in the areas of Agriculture, Health and Social Care and Real estate. 
He stressed the Mission’s focus on boosting Commercial and Economic Diplomacy by urging the diaspora to channel their resources to investing back in Uganda.
Parallel to this event, the Mission carried out an outreach mission of providing consular services to the Ugandan community in the Midlands.
