H.E. Nimisha Madhvani holds bilateral meetings in Ireland

Ambassador Nimisha Madhvani held meetings in Dublin with the Secretary General of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland, Mr Joseph Hackett and Chief of Protocol of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland, Ambassador Paul Kavanagh.
They discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest.

Ambassador Madhvani was accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador John L Mugerwa and Uganda's Honorary Consul to Ireland, Dr. Sylvia Gavigan.

Uganda Netball Team, the 'She-Cranes' visit the High Commission"

The Uganda High Commission welcomed the Uganda Netball Team, the She Cranes, for dinner at Uganda House following their win against Wales in a three match test series and ahead of the Vitality Netball Nations Cup in London and Leeds! 

The Vitality Netball Nations Cup kicks off this Saturday 20th January at OVO  Arena, Wembley, where the Uganda Netball Team will first play against the England Netball Team.

H.E. Nimisha Madhvani Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda accredited to Ireland, presented her Letters of Credence to the President of Ireland, H.E. Michael D. Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin (Presidential House), Dublin on 28 November, 2023. 

She was accompanied by Ms Shifa Madhvani and the Deputy Head of Mission, Amb. John Leonard Mugerwa.

Uganda High Commission joined the Ugandan Diaspora in Ireland, Dublin, to commemorate Uganda’s 61st Independence day celebrations on the 14th October 2023 organised by Uganda Association of Ireland, Dublin.

The celebrations, under the theme “Sustaining a United and Progressive Nation: Taking Charge of Our Future as a Free Nation” brought together over 200 participants including officials from Irish Government, Ugandan diaspora members, friends of Uganda and the Diplomatic Corps in Dublin.

Uganda High Commission in London hosted the 61st Independence day celebrations on the 12th October 2023 at International Maritime Organisation, London.

The celebrations, under the theme “Sustaining a United and Progressive Nation: Taking Charge of Our Future as a Free Nation” brought together over 400 participants including officials from UK Government, Ugandan diaspora members, friends of Uganda and the Diplomatic Corps.
