H.E. Nimisha Madhvani receives prestigious UK-India Triumph Award
Uganda's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, H.E. Nimisha Madhvani, received the prestigious UK-India Triumph Awards on July 12, 2023.
The award was presented by the British Asian Business Leaders and hosted by Lord Raj Loomba at the renowned House of Lords in the Cholmondeley Room and Terrance. This recognition was bestowed upon HE Nimisha for her exceptional efforts in strengthening partnership with Commonwealth for business. She was also appreciated for mobilizing and coordinating the Uganda Asian diaspora to return to Uganda and contribute to its development.
The esteemed ceremony was graced by prominent individuals including Lord Swaraj Paul, Lord Raj Loomba, Lord Rami Ranger, Bob Blackman a Member of Parliament, Miriam Otengo staff of Uganda High Commission heading Commercial & Economic development and several other dignitaries. The Ugandan Asians and many others present at the event warmly applauded HE Nimisha for her relentless dedication and commitment in mobilizing the community throughout the years.
During her inspiring speech, she commended President Museveni for providing a conducive environment for investment. Nimisha Madhvani highlighted the abundant investment opportunities in Uganda, accompanied by attractive incentives for potential investors. She urged the audience to consider visiting Uganda and explore the "Pearl of Africa," emphasizing its immense potential for economic growth and prosperity.
